Amos does a New Year Day ride leaving from the shop. I'm not sure of the start time though.

Yeah, Amos is making a tradition of a New Year's ride, so it would be great if we could get a big MVC contigent to go. If I am in town, I suspect I will be there.

Hey Mitch, What time? Does he want people to meet him at his shop?

New Years day route
by Amos
There will be a ride out of the shop New Years day at 11 a.m. Here is the link for the route it is generally flat and you could cut off after the beach and head back if you want a short ride. Start the New Year off right on your bike!
Get there a little early say 10:30 to sign in and get ready to leave at 11 a.m. I will go no matter what but the route could change if conditions are bad.
I have gone every New Years day since i started riding. The tradition was started out of this very same parking lot by Steve King of King's Cyclery. Steve got me into riding and taught me a lot anything from how to draft to how to fold a spare tubular. Thanks Steve!
There will be a group picture before we get going and hat for that special someone who for no reason seems to want to force the pace unnecessarily. Maybe some cookies and hot chocolate if I can get my act together too. Amos
