The multisport season opened on Sunday with Mike Kennedy finishing 3rd in the 55-59 age group and Bob Lane winning the the 50-54 age group. The race included a 2 mile run on a combination of grass and pavement. This was followed by a 10 mile mountain bike which included packed sand bike trails, pavement, grass and a short wooded section, and finnally a repeat of the first run. Conditions were much better than in past years as there was no wind to slow you down.
Next up is the Wrentham Duathlon on Sunday 17 April.
